Sizzlin’ Stylez

Hi! I’m Torri, a mom of 4, a farmers wife, a Hair & Makeup Artist! Thank you for being here! A little bit about me:: buckle up ☺️ My whole life I always loved all things hair, makeup, and fashion. Enough that all my friends had me doing their hair and makeup all through school. After graduation in 2008 I decided to go to a Paul Mitchell beauty school in Pittsburgh! I was there for 5 months and learned from some incredibly talented stylists. In December of 2008, my life took a traumatic turn for the worst with the unexpected loss of my closest and dearest best friend. I was spiraling out of control, not going to class, not doing my work, etc. When January 2009 rolled around I was failing, miserably. At this point my parents had to step in and bring me home. (thank god) Once I moved home I had to get a job so I applied at the local gas station and was hired. After a couple months of working there and battling severe depression and anxiety I decided it was time to get my life back in order because that’s exactly what he would want. At that point I applied for Butler Beauty Academy and decided I needed to finish school while living at home so I could still have my parents help me through the trauma while trying to go to school. (God bless them) I finished school and graduated! Yay! Now what?! A local stylist was selling her salon so she could retire. So I could resist jumping into it with arms wide open. I became a Salon Business Owner at the age of 20! I worked my tail off and created a very successful business! Fast forward to 2012 when I met, my now husband. We made a decision that it was in my best interest to sell my salon and move to Knox, where we now live, get married and start a family. & guess what, that’s exactly what we did! We built our dream home that included a salon, so I could “raise our babies & still work” (I wish it could of been that easy) but with one kid, came another, and then another, and then one more because why not 🤷‍♀️ which at that point there was no way I could work and take care of 4 small children at the same time. So I decided to put my dreams on hold, raise my babies, and help my husband build his business to everything he has ever wanted. So here we are, October 2022 and all my kids are officially in school, my husbands business is built and I now get to focus on my dreams and goals again. I cannot wait to see you in my chair & I hope I didn’t bore you to much with my story!! 🤍
